Unfortunately Chamul is back with us…
Some of you remember him. He came to us as an owner surrender when his original family could not keep him due to their growing family and lack of time. He ended up needing extensive surgery on his stomach due to a congenital issue. He was adopted once he healed from that and just recently returned for some behavior issues.
We have been working on figuring out these issues so we can properly place him. He is a typical Frenchie that is bullheaded and high energy. He does need a strong owner who is also balanced and calm. He would do best in a calm home, likely without kids running around or people coming in and out all the time. When he gets worked up, it is hard for him to calm down quickly. He also has a strong affinity for balls. He needs someone who will either not have them around or end play time if he gets too riled up. Finally, we were told he has an issue with people riding bikes. We have taken him out for numerous walks and have passed by bikes without issue. We feel that this may also be another part of the excitement phase that he gets in.
In his current foster home he lives with many other dogs and gets along with all of them. He is house trained and crate trained. He is a lover and he loves to stretch out in the couch and hang out. He does well with people of all ages but he really needs a calm, collected home. If you feel that you can give Chamul the home he deserves please fill out an application!
Adoption fee is $400
