Terry

Terry

Terry is finally ready for adoption!
If you missed his story or are new to the page, he was found on the side of the road and the officer thought he was dead. He had been hit by a car and wasn’t moving. When they got closer they realized he was still alive and got him to the emergency vet. They did a full work up and could not find much wrong except he was very painful and had some lung contusions and needed oxygen.
After a few days we transferred him to our partner vet and he was there for another week or so. He didn’t want to move much at all and he took a long time to even get up and walk. Finally he started to recover and he hasn’t looked back.
His favorite thing right now is to run around the yard with his foster friends. He us a great little dog that is very quiet. He is a very sensitive soul that loves being near his people but is also timid of new people. He gets along well with other animals too.
He did lose the vision in one of his eyes but it doesn’t bother him. Currently he doesn’t need to have it removed but there is a chance later in life that he could develop issues. Time will tell. He has seen an ophthalmologist and they put him on a couple eye meds and he can eventually come off of them hopefully.
This little guy’s world was rocked and many people didn’t think he would make it, but he proved everyone wrong. We could not have helped him without supporters like you!
Terry is some type of Terrier mix and will need to have routine grooming. He is also about a year old.
He is now ready to find a forever family with a fenced yard preferably.
Adoption fee is $350
