Sylvester is a sweet snuggly cat. He loves being petted, snuggling and watching birds. Sylvester thinks he would make a great pet for anyone who likes the band KISS. With his facial markings, he fits in the the band. Sylvester was adopted from animal control by a family who gave him away. They knew he was FIV+. The 2nd family returned him because he wasn’t using a litter box. It was determined that he had uncontrolled diabetes. Being FIV+ and diabetic doesn’t slow him down. Since being with us, there have been no problems using the litter box because his diabetes is well controlled. FIV+ cats can live with non FIV+ cats without any problems. FIV can only be transmitted thru deep bites. Sylvester is such a chill cat who is a lover not a fighter. He gets along great with kids, cats and dogs. His diabetes is well controlled with a strict schedule of diabetic food and meds. He takes insulin 2x a day without a problem. Sylvester is about 5 years old. He is a sweet snuggly cat looking for lots of snuggles. Being a KISS fan would be a plus.
