This sweet lady joined our group when her incontinence was a little too much to handle with the new baby in the house. She is a beautiful 3 year old purebred lab. Unfortunately she has some incontinence issues and is on 2 medications for life for this. The cost is around $100 per month. She does not need to be one any special food though.
Here is a little about her from her foster family:
Very affectionate – loves belly rubs and snuggles, she’ll even crawl under the blankets if you let her in the bed. She gets along great with other dogs but does not like to share toys, not aggressive just doesn’t like to share. LOVES tennis balls and any toy that squeaks. She’ll play fetch all day long, will destroy/rip apart plus/stuffed toys as well as tennis balls. Enjoys water and can dock jump. She’s attentive to guns and doesn’t seem afraid (unsure if she will hunt or not). Knows how to use doggy door – we feel that this has really helped her and would be a big plus for a future home.
Is trained on open bowl feeding.
Unsure of how she would be with children.
Pretty good with taking her pills – she likes peanut butter. Fairly obedient. Knows sit, stay, here, heal, lay down, and roll over.
We believe she would be best with an active family. She has an endless amount of energy and needs the opportunity to be active. Any situation where she could go outside at her leisure would be best to help with her urinary incontinence.
