We know you have all been waiting…
After several long months of recovering from surgery to fix her badly broken jaw, this adorable little meatball is finally ready to start searching for her forever home!
Mandy (short for Mandible lol) came to RPAW with badly healed breaks on each side of her lower jaw, which caused her mouth to just hang open. She had surgery to correct the breaks and she spent months in a cone and tape muzzle to make sure everything healed up right this time. Mandy is just over a year old and she is the cutest little pocket pittie. Don’t let photos fool you – she is tiny, she is just built like a linebacker lol. Mandy LOVES humans and has never met an adult she doesn’t want to be friends with. She has been good with kiddos as young as 9. She is a strong little thing though and sometimes just likes to throw her body around wherever so smaller children are not recommended. Mandy loves other dogs and would love to have a dog friend in her forever home. She currently lives with multiple large dogs and regularly goes to work with her foster mom at a dog daycare. She has been good with dogs of all sizes, ages, and sexes but can get a little too interested sometimes in the smaller ones and wants to just chase them around so a home with a dog her size or larger may be best (she is about 30lbs). She tends to have a more pushy, overbearing, rowdy play style which can be too much for some dogs. If you have another dog or dogs in the home we would need to make sure play styles are compatible. Cats are not recommended because all she wants to do is chase them and girl cannot take a hint. She is crate trained, potty trained, and walks well on a leash with the right tools. Shared walls might not be the best set up as she does like to sing the songs of her people occasionally and she likes to sometimes boof at noises she hears. Mandy is all brawn and no brains but she is the absolute sweetest, happiest dog and she’ll always put a smile on your face with her goofy personality
