Adoptable Cats

Felix James

By Adoptable Cats No Comments
Hello, I am Felix James. I am a senior boy looking for a good retirement home. I came to this current hotel a little over a month ago, and I have been warming up. I am a little shy at first until I know you and my surroundings. I am friendly and I love to be brushed. I am extra affectionate when I am begging for my meals. My hobbies are sleeping in my bed or a cat tree and laying in the sun. I am good with cats, I came here with a friend of mine named Tiger (he is looking for a retirement home too) and this hotel also has a lot of other cats. With proper introduction I am a pretty easy going guy and we all get along. I do have a few health needs I will need attended to in my retirement home. I am diabetic and I get insulin a couple times a day. If you give it to me when I am eating I don’t even notice. I also have glaucoma and get eye drops twice a day. I tolerate these pretty well also. Because of my diabetes, I only eat wet food. This hotel serves small meals more frequently vs a couple big ones to better manage my blood sugar. Reach out if you want to know anything else about me!

Meet Moody!

By Adoptable Cats No Comments
We think it is time to introduce this sweet lady ❤ Some amazing humans found her in a ditch in southern MN. They scooped her up and took her home to find her a safe place to end up. They posted on a local facebook page looking for help and we couldn’t say no! We knew this sweet senior needed some extra TLC and possible medical attention. The good samaritans drove her up to our wellness center and we sent out lab work right away. We thought she may have kidney disease, thyroid issues or maybe worse… but her lab work just came back with Roundworms. Those are simple enough to treat!
So she has had some dewormer, we ordered her some good groceries and she is settling in nicely into her foster home. She LOVES blankets and she loves kneading/making biscuits 😉
Our vet estimates Moody at about 10 years old. She is actually a petite little lady. She has an old eye injury which is where her name comes from, Mad Eye Moody. She actually is the opposite of Moody, she is the sweetest girl ever and so quiet.
If you are looking for a senior addition to your home, Moody may be your girl!

Tiger Stripe

By Adoptable Cats No Comments
Hello! My name is Tiger Stripe. I am a handsome older gentleman currently accepting applications for a retirement home. I have been at my current hotel for a little over a month. I am a curious fellow, and needed to explore everything upon my arrival. I came here with a friend of mine, Felix (he is looking for a retirement home too) and there are a lot of other cats here also. I get along with them, after being properly introduced. My hobbies are laying on the cat tree or bed in the office bedroom and looking as handsome as I can while the lady who runs this hotel works. The lady who ran my previous hotel said I am a lap cat, I’m working on that here. I like to be petted and brushed. I love food. I am the fastest eater you will ever see, and I need to be watched to make sure I don’t steal anyone else’s food. I am diabetic, so I get wet food only. Currently I eat smaller, more frequent meals to better regulate my blood sugar. I also get insulin twice a day, I don’t even notice it if you give it to me when I am eating. The last thing about me is I am front declawed. If you think you might have a suitable retirement home for me, reach out so we can talk.

Apache/Huey

By Adoptable Cats No Comments
Meet Apache and Huey!
This sweet, senior, bonded pair are looking for their forever home. Apache, an old lady of 16, and Huey, an old guy of 13 are so adorable. Apache loves to snuggle and play in the water. Huey loves to find a soft bed and sunshine to sleep in. Both are in good health for their age. They are currently in a foster home with other cats and a small dog and do well.
They came to use when a disabled veteran was unable to continue to care for them. They were both very loved and the previous owner would love continued updates if possible as she had them their whole life.
Both Apache and Huey are Spayed/Neutered, declawed and up to date on vaccinations/bloodwork.
Adoption applications available at rpaw.org
Adoption fee for the senior pair is $100
