This sweet lady was found wandering the city streets with a fractured
elbow. A good Samaritan found her and brought her to the emergency clinic.
She was then transferred to animal control and no owner was found.
When Delilah arrived, we sent her x-rays to our amazing orthopedic surgeon
and she said she would attempt to fix the fracture. Unfortunately, when she
opened up the area it was determined that it was not repairable. We moved
forward with amputation so that she doesn’t have lifelong pain.
Delilah is about 6 months old and our guesses on breeds are all over the
place haha 😄. She has a thick coat like an Akita and a square
head from possibly boxer. She is currently around 30lbs and sweet a pie.
She gets along with other dogs and is a typical puppy. We know she would do
well in any home ❤️
