Our Commitment to You



Rescued Pets Are Wonderful is a non-profit, no-kill, volunteer animal rescue organization serving the Twin Cities metro area. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs and cats left homeless for whatever reason – focusing on the ones with major medical issues or of senior age. These are the ones that are usually overlooked because they are not “highly adoptable.” They are also the ones that cost the most to the organizations. We believe they are the most in need of help!

Adoptions


We place dogs and cats in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog or cat into their homes and lives.
 Adoptable Pets


How We Work



We pull unclaimed strays from local animal control facilities and shelters that are too full.

 

We will provide all of the necessary veterinary procedures that they may need prior to their adoption.

 

We place them in loving foster homes until an adoptive home is found. They live with us until they are adopted.



We bring them to adoption events around the twin cities to promote them and find them homes.



RPAW's Non-Profit Veterinary Clinic!
Summer 2024: RPAW will be opening their very own veterinary clinic to provide the time sensitive and necessary medical care to the animals in their care. This will make your donation dollar go further! We will offer our services to other rescue organizations, shelters and sanctuaries. The ultimate goal is to offer low cost preventative services to the community. We will also have a specific area of focus on TNR work!
