Teddy

By Adoptable Dogs No Comments

Meet Teddy! This teenage pug is out to find a home that can keep up with him and his crazy pug antics! Do you love to run around everywhere you go? Do you like to let the world know you are here to party? Do you like to chase cats just because you know it bothers them and you think that’s funny?

Maybe Teddy should be renamed Taz because that is much more of a description of him.

Believe us, he is one of the happiest, fun-loving dogs you will ever meet. He would love to find a home with a yard he can run all around in. He would love to have another dog buddy to play with. He doesn’t want to harm cats but any felines in the home need to like dogs because he will be all up in their business. He would do fine with kids. He would not do well in an apartment or somewhere with adjoining walls as he sometimes likes to let the world know how happy he is!

The adoption fee is $300.

If you are looking for a young pug who simply loves life feel free to fill out an application on rpaw.org

He has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested negative.

Nick Torres

By Adoptable Dogs No Comments

Nick Torres came to RPAW back in June. When he found us, he was in tough shape. After extensive medical care, we found out he had Mengioencephnelitits, which is inflammation of the brain and surrounding tissues and fluids. With lots of love and medical treatment, this sweet boy is finally ready to start his furever with a new family!

Since his previous owners did not address his symptoms when they first started, he has permanent damage. Nick is mostly blind and fully deaf. He seems to see light shadows. His foster mom finds it absolutely incredible that this doesn’t slow him down a bit from trying to be a normal pup. He navigates the house free-range currently with supervision and is always on the prowl looking for toys to play with or a soft spot to take a quick snooze. When he is not playing chase or wrestling with the other pups in the home, he is looking for snuggles. He does really well getting around. He uses his feet to feel around his surroundings and is a quick learner.
Nick was on a steroid for a number of months while his body recovered from his infection. This was also during the time puppies normally become potty-trained. He does use potty pads and goes every time he is outside, however, he will need to learn his new environment and signals to let you know when he needs to go.
Nick is around a year old and would love another small pup in the house to bond to. He currently lives with cats as well and does fine with them. He has not been around children, but his foster mom thinks he would do fine with older children in the home.
Adoption fee is $200
Applications are available at rpaw.org
